About Laura Ashley Lighting

Laura Ashley began in 1953, when Laura and Bernard Ashley started hand-printing fabrics at their kitchen table. Laura researched her designs in museum archives, drawing on romantic florals, the Arts & Crafts movement and classic country-house style – which is why the brand’s look still feels timeless today.

The lighting collection is designed and manufactured by Dar Lighting, the exclusive licensee for Laura Ashley lighting. Dar’s designers translate the brand’s heritage into practical fittings: crystal and cut-glass chandeliers, lantern pendants, armed ceiling lights, bar pendants for kitchen islands, wall lights and a wide choice of table and floor lamps.

Many pieces belong to matching ranges, so you can pair a pendant with wall lights and a table lamp in the same finish. Popular finishes include antique brass, polished nickel, polished chrome and satin nickel, often combined with crystal, cut glass or silk-effect shades in ivory and charcoal.
