About Nordlux

Nordlux was established in 1977, and from the start its goal has been to deliver quality lighting at attractive prices. The company describes its mission as lifting people’s quality of life with light, and today its products are sold by thousands of dealers in more than 50 countries. Nordlux is also the company behind DFTP – Design For The People – its design-led sister brand created to bring designer lighting to everyday homes.

Nordlux pairs a tradition of good lighting design with modern LED technology, aiming for lasting quality, great design and user-friendly functionality. Its collections mix in-house designs with carefully sourced products, using materials such as mouth-blown glass, brushed brass, steel and wood. Wood in its FSC-certified products comes from responsibly managed forests, and many outdoor designs carry IP44 or higher ratings, with some made specifically to cope with coastal conditions.

Our Nordlux range is one of the largest we carry, with outdoor wall lights making up the biggest share alongside bollards, outdoor ceiling lights, spike spotlights and portable lights for the garden. Which Nordlux lights are suitable for outdoor use?

Nordlux has an extensive outdoor collection, including wall lights, bollards, ceiling lights and garden spotlights. Most carry an IP44 rating or higher, and some are designed for coastal areas. Check the IP rating on each product page to match it to where it will be fitted.

Do Nordlux lights come with bulbs?

It depends on the design. Many Nordlux lights have integrated LEDs, so there is no bulb to buy or replace, while others take standard fittings such as E27 or GU10. The product page states the fitting and whether a bulb is included.

Can I dim Nordlux lights?
