About Maytoni

Maytoni was founded on 1 February 2009 and began with a focus on classic decorative lighting, gradually broadening into modern, trend-led and statement designs. As the company grew, so did its catalogue, passing 1,500 products within its first decade. In 2019 it launched Maytoni Technical for modern functional lighting, which became a brand in its own right the following year. Today the company offers interior, outdoor and architectural collections.

Maytoni places great emphasis on quality, controlling every stage of production and paying attention to details that aren’t visible to the eye. It works with well-known designers and its collections have received international design awards. The decorative side favours glass, brass, crystal and fabric, while Maytoni Technical offers a clean, architectural look – recessed and surface downlights, spotlights and outdoor fittings in a wide palette of finishes.

Our Maytoni collection includes over 650 designs. Wall lights lead the range, followed by recessed downlights, modern and single pendants, and statement feature pendants and chandeliers. For more technical schemes there are spotlights and surface downlights, and outside you’ll find outdoor wall lights and bollards for paths and gardens. What is Maytoni Technical?

Maytoni Technical is Maytoni’s range of functional and architectural lighting, launched in 2019. It includes recessed and surface downlights, spotlights and outdoor fittings, designed to sit alongside the brand’s decorative chandeliers, pendants and wall lights.

Are Maytoni outdoor lights weatherproof?

Maytoni’s outdoor wall lights and bollards carry IP ratings such as IP54 to protect against moisture and dust. Ratings differ between designs, so check the IP rating on the product page to make sure it suits your location.

Do Maytoni lights include bulbs?

Many Maytoni Technical fittings have integrated LEDs, often with a set colour temperature such as 3000K or 4000K. Decorative pendants and chandeliers often take separate bulbs such as E14 or E27. The product page lists the lamp type and what’s included.
