A key factor is choosing the right light fitting takes in many different aspects, but one that we would rank high up the priority list is the physical size of the product. When considering product size, one of the most important features is the height, or drop, of a fitting. Sometimes this can be variable, but we will always give the Minimum and Maximum drop of a fitting within the technical data. We advise that you check against your own ceiling height and measure the distance from the floor to the bottom of the fitting as given in the technical data, if you are happy this will work for you then proceed with the purchase. If you are in any doubt with this please get in touch and we can try and help you out as needed.

No electrician required
Your Darci Black Finish Adjustable Floor Lamp is a freestanding floor lamp that plugs directly into a standard mains socket — no hardwiring or electrician is required. Position it where you need it, route the cable away from high-traffic areas, fit your recommended bulb, and it is ready to use.
Choosing the right bulb
We recommend the bulb specified in the Technical Information section above for the correct light output and colour temperature. Our recommendation is available to add to your basket in the Recommended Bulb section above.
Moving the lamp
Always switch the lamp off at the socket and allow the bulb to cool before moving it or handling the shade.
