When considering product size, one of the most important features is the height, or drop, of a fitting. Sometimes this can be variable, but we will always give the Minimum and Maximum drop of a fitting within the technical data. We advise that you check against your own ceiling height and measure the distance from the floor to the bottom of the fitting as given in the technical data, if you are happy this will work for you then proceed with the purchase. Leo To-Go LED Bamboo Portable Light
Professional installation is required
Your Leo To-Go LED Bamboo Portable Light is a hardwired fitting and should always be installed by a qualified electrician. While the connection itself is relatively straightforward, working with mains voltage ceiling or wall wiring carries inherent risk — a competent tradesperson will ensure the job is completed safely and to the required standard in your country.
Ceiling profile and mounting
If your property has decorative cornicing, a ceiling rose, or an unusual ceiling profile, mention this to your electrician in advance — some fittings require an additional backplate or canopy adapter to sit flush and look correct. Also confirm the diameter of your existing ceiling rose against the fitting's backplate before installation day. All relevant dimensions are in the Technical Information section above.
IP rating
This fitting carries an IP44 rating — protected against solid objects over 1mm and water splashes, making it suitable for bathroom zones away from direct water sources.
