A key factor is choosing the right light fitting takes in many different aspects, but one that we would rank high up the priority list is the physical size of the product. When considering product size, one of the most important features is the height, or drop, of a fitting. Sometimes this can be variable, but we will always give the Minimum and Maximum drop of a fitting within the technical data. We advise that you check against your own ceiling height and measure the distance from the floor to the bottom of the fitting as given in the technical data, if you are happy this will work for you then proceed with the purchase. If you are in any doubt with this please get in touch and we can try and help you out as needed.

Dimmability
This fitting is not dimmable and should be connected to a standard on/off switch only. Connecting it to a dimmer switch, even at full brightness, can damage the driver circuitry and will void the warranty. If dimming is important to you, please get in touch and we will recommend a suitable dimmable alternative.

Professional installation is required
Your Nono 49 Black Single Pendant Light is a hardwired fitting and should always be installed by a qualified electrician. While the connection itself is relatively straightforward, working with mains voltage ceiling or wall wiring carries inherent risk — a competent tradesperson will ensure the job is completed safely and to the required standard in your country.
Ceiling profile and mounting
If your property has decorative cornicing, a ceiling rose, or an unusual ceiling profile, mention this to your electrician in advance — some fittings require an additional backplate or canopy adapter to sit flush and look correct. Also confirm the diameter of your existing ceiling rose against the fitting's backplate before installation day. All relevant dimensions are in the Technical Information section above.
