Installation FAQ

Ella 2 Light Matt Black with Porcelain Shade Wall Light

Professional installation is required

Your Ella 2 Light Matt Black with Porcelain Shade Wall Light is a hardwired fitting and should always be installed by a qualified electrician. While the connection itself is relatively straightforward, working with mains voltage ceiling or wall wiring carries inherent risk — a competent tradesperson will ensure the job is completed safely and to the required standard in your country.

Ceiling profile and mounting

If your property has decorative cornicing, a ceiling rose, or an unusual ceiling profile, mention this to your electrician in advance — some fittings require an additional backplate or canopy adapter to sit flush and look correct. Also confirm the diameter of your existing ceiling rose against the fitting's backplate before installation day. All relevant dimensions are in the Technical Information section above.

What if I need to return it?

We offer a 45-day no-quibble returns policy on all stock items. As long as the item is returned in its original packaging, in resalable condition, and has not been installed or fitted, we will issue a full refund. Full details are on our Returns Policy page.
